New World Saigon Hotel

We had an amazing experience at New World Hotel in Ho Chi Minh. We had originally booked for the Rex Hotel however had to extend our booking a day earlier and they could not accommodate us. We then booked New World and I am so glad we did. The staff have been extraordinarily welcoming and ready to assist with anything they are able. We booked the Residence Club Premier room, which gave us access to their cocktail and canapes in the Resident Club Room (level 10). Now we have stayed in a number of hotels with club access and I can say that the inclusion in this club room exceeded expectations. There is a wide variety of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff were very friendly and were happy to help out or just have a chat if you look too lonely! Big shout out to Holy, Leo, Van and Venus for the great conversations, restaurant suggests and amazing service. The Residence Club Premier room itself was spacious and well maintained, room cleaning was thorough and detailed. Our overall experience was truly exceptional and we would most certainly stay in a New World Hotel again.

Location was very good. Stuff was very helpful. Room was very clean and cosy with the exact space for a couple. Breakfast was the best in Vietnam so far. IBUKI restaurant located in the hotel was superb (You must try the wagyu tataki).

We stayed on the residence floor of the hotel. If it was an airline, compare it to business/first class. Separate breakfast area, soft drink and tea/coffee inclusive all day. In the evening, 5:30 to 8 Pm, food and alcoholic drinks are available. The quality of food is second to none and the service exceptional. Chloe was our check in girl and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. Pool spotless always beds available. Poolside service included replenishment of water glasses. We have stayed in many five star hotels worldwide and I can safely say that the New World Hotel is probably the best. But... Check out the residence floor.

New World Saigon was absolutely fabulous. From reading other peoples reviews, we opted for a Residence Club Premier room which I would definitely recommend. The room was wonderful with an amazing view. The bed was so comfortable and the room was spotless (it’s one of the nicest toilets I’ve ever had the (dis)pleasure to throw up in - which was nothing to do with the hotel, I must stress!). The club lounge, staff, food and drinks available there were all excellent. And the pool is absolutely gorgeous - do try the lychee cocktail at the pool bar - to die for!

This is truly an exceptional hotel with the most delightful staff. From day 1 they went above and beyond and got to know us by name and engage with us about our day. We booked the Executive floor which I would highly recommend as it is more than worth the value. It provides a huge selection of food at breakfast, free non alcoholic drinks throughout the day and food and alcohol in the evenings. The spread of food is meant to be canapés but we ate a full dinner here every night. The food changed each day and was of very high quality and delicious! We also ate breakfast at the downstairs restaurant but it was just a bigger version of upstairs so don’t waste the money to purchase. My husband had ordered a cake for my birthday and it was in the room when we arrived. The hotel also surprised me with an extra cake from them which was very nice. The location is perfect for Ben Than markets and wandering to various sites in the city. The spa is wonderful (fabulous treatments and staff) and the pool area fabulous to relax at, with very attentative and friendly service by the bar staff. The bar downstairs at night is great with reasonably priced drinks and live jazz music. We had rooms next door to each other for us and the kids and both were great size and immaculate. Cleaners were very good and clearly took pride in their work and were happy. Bottles water was refreshed daily (but was also available freely in the Executive lounge room as part of Executive package) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Saigon. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye!
